The MOT scheme is a road safety measure that requires all vehicles in the UK over 3 years of age to be tested every year to ensure that it complies with at least the minimum road safety and environmental standards. If you have a vehicle that is more than three years old, it will need an MOT test. You cannot drive a motor vehicle legally that is not covered by a valid MOT certificate (if required) and can be heavily fined for doing so.
As an Authorised MOT Testing Station we are qualified to test all road going vehicles to the standards set out by the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA). And will provide you with a valid MOT certificate on passing the relevant checks.
The MOT test relates only to the condition of the testable items. Your MOT certificate confirms that at the time of the test your vehicle met, as far as can be reasonably determined without dismantling, the minimum acceptable environmental and road safety standards required by law. It does not mean that the vehicle is roadworthy for the life of the certificate and is not a substitute for regular maintenance.
